A majority of the students studying these courses in English come from the interior parts of the state. A practising architect with a presence in Lucknow and Delhi, Gupta also teaches the subject in some colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

Over the years, Benninger has interacted with and addressed thousands of students and professionals. It has since sold an impressive 19, copies, has been reprinted five times. However, the book did not have an easy start. He has recently been in discussions with a publisher in Cairo for an Arabic translation. Benninger will deliver a lecture in Dhaka during the launch of the Bengali edition in February.
